Swayambhuvanath Stupa or known as the Monkey Temple is a Holy Pilgrimage, humbling climbing the steep carved stone stairs for a distance, reaching the top of the hill, paramounts a specatuclar view of Kathmandu. SWAYAMBHUNATH circumambulate the Swayambhunath Stupa 13 times on a holy day, it is equivalent to circumabulating Mount Kailash once and the merit accumulated is over 10,000 times. Lord Buddha instills devotion and increase merit among heretics, and with circumambulation of the Swayambhunath Stupa can generate purity with a great store of merit softening bad karma and obstacles for the present and the future, if the jiva is sincere and selfless.
